Hi Tanya, Thank you so much for sharing this. We all have so many parts, and it sounds like the part of you that shared this, is the part of you that believes these things. There is a part of you that believes you are not mature enough and a part of you that is not confident, or that believes you are not confident. It is good that this has come up, so that you can see that these are the beliefs that are holding you back. And there is another part of you that knows you have so much information to share – and this is true! Good work.

Thank you Shayla. I have watched many helpful videos and trainings but yours really spoke to me like no other. It felt like you wrote it just for me, every word resonated. The 2 answers that came up for me during the exercise were: It’s not ok for me to make more money because people will just take it away. (a good clue that I still have issues around my divorce settlement). The very best thing about me having more money is that I can help people. (my kids, clients, family, friends, community, and ultimately the world – both financially but also spiritually since I will be in such a better emotional/spiritual place). I’m looking forward to the next videos in the series.

You are so welcome, and I am so glad my video really spoke to you. “People will just take it away” is a good belief to bring into conscious awareness so that you can shift it, especially as it is still showing up so clearly around your divorce settlement. Hi Kecia, thanks for sharing more. Oh yes, the guilt, the guilt! That’s a big one for many of us. That plus the scarcity/not enough/use it up/will be gone paradigm that surrounds us. Keep breathing into it and see what happens. And yes, with more money you do get to have more FUN! Isn’t it great to read the other women’s answers? It’s so good to know that we are in this together.
Thank you Shayla, I very much appreciated your video, it is always very helpful to identify that which is holding me back. I recognized this on a deeper level but I was too embarrassed to admit it out loud to myself. Ive always been such a hard worker all my life and now at 56 years old I feel tired. However, I do realize that being tired is because of a combination of things that I had been doing and or thinking that did not serve my true authentic self. After being in the helping profession for over 30 years I had always worked for government or other institutions that did not my true authentic self and although I served all my clients very well, it took its tole and I got Cancer in 2002. I am cancer free now but I do recognize the role I played in that manifestation. Im now ready to come back to my desire to help others but clearly I need that to be on my terms in a balanced way. I am looking forward to watching all four of your video’s to envelop your wonderful gifts of the knowledge you share here. Thank you so kindly for your gifts to me and to all of us! Hi Pamela, Thank you for being brave enough to say this out loud, and know that you are not alone. We all have these old beliefs, and we often try to hide them from others because we don’t want to be embarrassed. Bringing them to conscious awareness and speaking them out loud helps you to be more free. Congratulations on being cancer free Pamela! Yes, it is time for you to step fully into your true authentic self, and be on your own terms in a balanced way, and then to help others from that place – which is the most powerful place a healer can be. So beautifully done, Shayla! And truly inspiring. This allowed me to revisit my blocks, which include feeling somehow that it is “not OK” for me to make lots of money because others do not have abundance – perhaps a question of fairness or equity. And then also a concern about becoming money-driven rather than intent-driven. Many, many thanks, my friend!
Hi Nancy! I love how inclusive you are, and this part reveals that you want others to have abundance. “If I have more, then others won’t have enough … If I have abundance, then others will suffer” is part of the old paradigm that we are all still affected by. And there has been such a split ,and we see this split all around us – we experience many of “those who care about money” as being money-driven and less caring, and not intent-driven, mission-driven, or carried down the river of love without driving at all 🙂
Luckily there is a cure! As we step into our abundance, we co-create a world of plenty for all.

Much gratitude for You, Jodi! So nice that you had silence and a calming sensation for the 1st question. This may mean that nothing is currently activated for you (and you will know this is true if you are making as much money as you desire) or it may be that the part is feeing shy and may need some more time and safe space to make itself know. I recommend doing the exercise again, and pause the video after the first question, then relax into the silence and wait for the answer to come from deep within…
You answer to the second question – Sharing my abundance – makes my heart so happy! See? This is why more wealth should be in the hands of women healers – because we share it, with joy and with love!
My responses to part 1 were I don’t know how to manage money; I’m not smart enough; I don’t deserve it. All of which I keep hearing repeatedly. The 2nd part is easy – I want to have the time and money to be with my son, my friends and travel.
Great work Marie! When you say: “All of which I keep hearing repeatedly.” Do you mean internally or externally? Or perhaps both… often we have an outdated unconscious belief, and then we attract others who come along and confirm this/agree with our outdated belief. Even with these old beliefs, the 2nd part was easy, which is great! It is so good to own that you want to have time and money to be with your son, your friends and travel.
Thank you Shayla, what showed up for me was ” I could no longer fit with the story of how hard my life is and how I struggle and can never have what I want” , wow that explains a lot , especially how I start things but rarely finish. The best part about having more money was “that I could have my own house, place where I walk in and feel at home, space where I belong, it’s mine, it’s peaceful and beautiful and it’s permanent”. As I’m typing this I feel such a lump in my throat, btw I work out of my condo and do feel sometimes that my business ( massage therapy ) takes over my personal space ( even thou I love the convenience ). Mine were: you are just a girl, you arent supposed to be wealthy you need a man for that. Women cant be wealthy they have to rely onmen for that. No woman in my family can handle there money, I am no different.

When I was a teenager my parents told me that Music wasn’t a real profession, just a hobby and now I think that has slowed my career and take me to financial struggle. Anyway, I thank the Universe that is supporting me.

You, and all loving men, are welcome here! Yes, it is surprising what the unconscious believes, and how easily it will share with you, when asked in a context of safety and love. There are so many ways to be a healer, and being a musician is certainly one of them. My husband is a musician, too, and I have learned that musicians often have similar unconscious beliefs about financial success as other types of healers.
For your first answer: that is very direct, and often the deeper belief under other cover stories.
For your second answer: It is so great to know that you can handle more money without losing yourself. That is very powerful.

I broke down and cried when you said it wasn’t my fault. I had a good living until my divorce then I went into healing moved out of state and my kids didn’t want to move with me so my ex husband filled for custody of my 17 yr old daughter. I landed a job making good money in healing but my ex demanded twice the amount of support from me than he paid me for two kids and told the judge I abandoned my children. I seriously thought they’d move sooner or later. So money flows in and leaves right away. I have now moved to tn where I can be closer to my kids and can’t make ends meet, having a hard time trying to start a small practice and I’m thinking of leaving the trade. Very frustrated as I’m waitressing and the tips barely pay my bills. I feel my sub conscious was around not being worthy and the child support having more money I could help my family and others and pay my bills and be happier.my daughter is now 20 and makes over 40k a year without going to college and my son lives with me and is 22.

I feel like nobody wants to help or support me. Every time I want to do something I have to do it on my own, just me alone. For example, I am going to do some business, people ask me for the cost!!! they don’t want my price!!! They want to be my partner but not my customer!!! This make me exhausted cause this is not what I want, I just wanna sell something to someone, I love to find good stuff and sell it with the profit I am happy with. One more thing I fell guilty to charge more, I always think I have to charge less so they won’t blame me that I am greedy. Why do I care others so much? These things are really bothering me. How to clear these believes and what do they try to teach me? Thank you.
Yes, that does sound exhausting! And it’s so hard to feel the guilt, and to not want others to blame you that you are greedy. You have great awareness and are asking yourself the right questions… Please be kind to yourself as you are on this journey of self-discovery. There are ways to clear these beliefs, and to understand what they try to teach you. It’s a process and takes a little time, but is well worth it. The first part my belief was that I was not born in a rich family and only a few rich people around. Or you cannot have it all. Not everyone has money!
The second question: my answer was I can have freedom to travel and enjoy life and rest. Do whatever I like and help my communityvin any way.

Hi Shayla my unconscious beliefs about having more money relates to my family except for my mother having financial difficulties with money. They already are resentful that money comes to me more easily than them and I guess that I don’t want to show them up. I didn’t expect that answer so thank you for this process. I have been working on my money blocks and have cleared quite a few but this is new. The positive aspect was about having freedom. This has been coming up for me a bit lately. I think that when your not bogged down with worrying about money it opens up many other doors to serving others and being able to help out in ways that you would like including charities and many others things. And when we ask our unconscious mind, directly, with love and respect, it will tell us the truth. Usually when this happens we can look back and things start to make more sense. My old beliefs about money was that having money would make me mean, arrognant , stressed out and not authenticly happy.
I understand this old belief was only there to protect me. I thank and appreciate the intention of this belief and I no longer need it

Love your voice,. It’s so soothing, and your personal integrity and I can feel your integrity and belief in what you’re doing.! This gives me hope… When I did this first exercise at first nothing came up when I invited the part of me that doesn’t think having lots of money is good to speak. Then out came: “White people (meaning white Americans) will kill you…”. Well, this is “an oldie” in my past (I thought/had hoped!) limiting beliefs inner landscape. But in the decade or so since I first unearthed it, I’ve only worked on it directly SOLO. I’ve frankly never found any energy healer I could work with on it. — Did work on issues close to it with two great therapists, and one alternative healer who is an older southern white male., which all helped a lot. (The therapists all had training in crossing cultures & in oppression studies (by any name), and the southerner alternative healer “got it” because he was just a super special healer AND because he was from the south he’d actively looked at his racial legacies. Also just remembered did some great related healing work with a very p[powerful Filipino energy healer once. But only in one instance was the focus me and money. ….All the people I personally know who make a living as energy healer are (walkin’ in the world as) white. And most I’ve worked with have not explored or dismantled enough of their own unconscious racism (frankly) to actually help me go deeply into my self-healing needs in this realm, (other realms yes). Again, at least that’s been my experience over a decade and a half living in this country and actively seeking and working on being peaceful and prosperous and happy being here… Gonna do the whole video series you’ve shared with us for free — Thanks very much !! And any suggestions you might have are very welcome. — And I can’t help wondering have you helped women of color healers become wealthy too? African and Native American women? (People whose families and communities were genocided in THIS SAME culture and society they are now striving to “make it” in?) — My financial situation has become an ongoing source of stress and fear, and I’m presently so demoralized around it I’m barely keeping going with my creative projects, even though I KNOW they would/will help so many people. …I’m just so weary of struggling at SUCH a basic level, now, for most all of my life, and of of having watched so many others in my birth family & lineages either endure something very similar… (Almost all the artists and healers, and “conscious creative-types gave up at some point”, and get blue collar jobs in order to keep a roof over their heads…) I’m NOT ready to give up even trying to offer my healing gifts, because it’s like breathing. No matter what I do, I do it in a healing way, as best I can. and probably like many others… I truly and deeply welcome any support, suggestions you may be able to give me… And thanks for reading this in nay case, and again for all the information in your videos. Since you asked for my support and feedback… Have you ever done any work with hypnotherapy or NLP? Or past life regression/release work? It feels like this is carried over from previous lifetimes as well as being strong for you in this life. I have learned that our core issues never vanish, but they do keep leading us back home if we continue to work with them skillfully and compassionately. I think my largest money block has to do with not believing that I can really earn a living with my intuitive energy healing practice…like someone will accuse me of being a phony and I’ll make zero money.
If I had as much money as I needed/wanted,I could stop living in fear of bring broke, hungry, or living on the street. In reality I am far from that, but I still live with that fear.
Great awareness, Marie! Fear of being seen as a fake or phony is a common fear among women healers. There are a lot of internal and external reasons for this being so. Also, your fear of being broke, hungry or loving on the street – many of us have this fear deep down inside, even when there is plenty of evidence to the contrary. Thank you for being so honest! If you stopped living in fear of being broke, hungry, or living on the street … what might happen then?

When asking the first “part” why it’s not OK for me to have more money, all that came up was grief, no words. That suggests to me that it’s very deep, maybe from past lifetimes.
The part of me that’s ready to receive more abundance can answer the second question with ease. Those answers have been part of my affirmative statements for YEARS.
Realizing that I have these two parts that are so at odds with each other makes me feel a bit crazy, and very discouraged. In your experience, when someone has such deep “anti-abundance” programming, what forms of therapy tend to work the best?

Yes, it sounds like you had a deep and very direct experience of grief, without words.That it so great. I hold you with love. If you feel crazy or discouraged, remember – there is nothing wrong with you! This is part of the human experience. We ALL have many parts of us, conscious and unconscious. We have plenty of material in this lifetime alone, and likely we have programming carried forward and repeated from many lifetimes. I work with my clients on directly clearing money beliefs from past lives, because I have found that this is often a big issue with women healers.
We have unconscious beliefs that create over 90% of what shows up in our lives. And we have our conscious desires and awareness. When these are at odds, it can make us feel crazy or discouraged.
The first step is to hold yourself. all of your parts, all of your experiences and beliefs, with unconditional love. Let there be space for all of it. When the old beliefs come up, be gentle and loving with yourself. And you can do direct work to update your old “anti-abundance” programming,. I have been an NLP Master Practitioner for over 20 years, and am a big fan of NLP for updating unconscious beliefs. It is one of the many tools I use to help women clear their blocks to abundance.
I’m not sure why it’s not okay for me to have more money. I wrote that selfishly I caused my husband step away from realizing his goals. He was making good money as a writer, workshop facilitator and documentary producer. I was so focused on my own vision, I did not see that by asking him to move, he turned his back on the Universe. The Universe had given him what he wanted and he stepped away from it. I feel guilty that I thwarted his growth for my desire to continue my education. Since making that decision, money just seems to flow through my fingers. I owe more money than I ever have before and can not seem to manifest abundance and step out of this seemingly never ending vicious cycle of not having enough to do simple things (this when I have multiple certificates and I’m making a good salary at my full time job). Not at all sure I completed the statement

I had an AHA that it hurts to have money. What a transparent belief to have. I can see how this has operated in my life, Clearing this will help me with where I want to go in my business.

What came up for me this time was that if I have more money, people are going to want more money from me, such as friends and family. I want more money so I can be debt free and live in ease and not have to worry where money will be coming from each month.

What came up for me was that my side of the family doesn’t know how to manage money, is irresponsible with money and doesn’t deserve to have money. I can’t make good money because I’m one of these family members.
However it was so nice to let myself feel what it could feel like if I did have more than enough money. I could breathe easier too, without fear, with the freedom to pursue my dreams and the ability to help others too.

That is a good realization. Family Loyalties are a big block to allowing ourselves to have the life we want. On a deep psychological level, our need to belong (and therefore survive) is stronger than our desire to succeed. So, if we belong to our family, we identify with them, and then we have to feel like we are being loyal to them. When we start to surpass the limits of our families, family loyalties can come along and sabotage our success, in an effort to keep us safe. This is a big one, and it takes time and work, but it can be healed.

What came up for me is that it’ll be too much work (and stressful) if I made more money, my calendar would be full and I would run around like a chicken with it’s head off. On the other side, I think making more more would allow me to feel at ease, relaxed and have more clarity around who I serve as well as reaching more people. It seems to me like I need to clean and organize my systems and also to really embody this quality of ease and clarity.
Great insights, Anh Chi Pham! You are in good company. Most of us have been programmed to believe that in order to make more money we have to work a lot and be stressed out – but this is not so! Since we give so much on every level, it’s especially important that we women healers don’t work too much, because we need time to recharge.

this was awesome! I saw a past life where I was so tired of living because it was too much work. I worked with that whole thing and it sequed into me acknowledging about how I worked hard to make and hold on to my wealth at the cost of my relationships, integrity, and morals. I betrayed and abandoned my self so many times, I did not want to live anymore. I did a healing process on this whole thing and showed my self a new paradigm based upon Love. it was awesome!
then the part that was excited about money, sees money as a form of Love and is excited to have the fun of sharing it with the world in so many ways: supporting folks by buying their products; funneling money into projects that support Love, Light and Life for the planet and all life. Anonymous philanthropy. Having my own beautiful space and well being. FUN!
